Default Broke the evap

Well Im in the middle of swapping my ls1 for an l92 and in the process I broke the plastic hose of that conects to the evap (if thats what it is, it's the solenoid that connects from one of the fuel lines to the intake).
Not to sure what this part is or if I need it, or if there is some kind of mod I can do to delete this? Im trying to have the car together within a week, so if I need that way I can order it. The new intake I'll be using will be an l76. I also have some 5.3 truck manifolds laying around, and I think the evap might still be intact. Can I use any evap from a GM vehicle?
Thanks

It is your fuel tank vent line from your charcoal can you NEED it intact. Not sure what part you are talking about but should be able to get it at your GM dealer. If just the hose it is very low pressure so just a hose and clamp will be fine.

I broke the plastic part that connects from the hose to the solenoid deal. I'll try to get some pics up later.

Thanks

Like Nate said it sounds like the solenoid...is it the plastic black thing with the two braided lines connected to it between the valve cover and the fuel rail in this photo?
