Default Ls2 -LS1 rail question

Does an LS2 rail and injectors bolt on an LS6 intake? I know about the USCAR vs EV1 injector wiring change.

No the LS2 mounts way different and the LS2 injectors are alot shorter. There is a FAST install kit that could do what you want. I have them in stock give me a call I can help you get what you need.

Nate was thinking more of putting LS2 injectors and rail on a ls6 intake and using the ford type injector adapters. Will that work?

That is exactly what I was talking about. The mounting of the ls2 rails are way off from the LS6 intakes holes. And the LS2 injectors are about a full inch shorter than LS1 injectors. I have a kit in stock that will adapt all you need to do and yes the injector adapters would be needed.

Using the Fuel injector adapters from Katech - I installed LS2 60lb injectors in my Ls1 fuel rail , on my l76 intake. Took a few minutes to get all lined up though.

Just use our LS2 to LS6 adapter kit. No need to change the rail. The LS2 injector is 12mm shorter than the ls6, our adapter takes care of that and is sold with our injectors. go to this thread and scroll down till you see the pic of the adapted injector.

okay so what if it's the other way around mounting a LS1 fuel rail and injectors to a LS2 intake manifold?

There are adapters both ways. I have a FAST on my LS2 that has the injector spacers to keep my short stock LS2 injectors, and the rail mount adapters to make the LS2 rails fit the FAST intake (LS1 style mount). I am switching over to 42# Green top injectors that are the LS1 style, as well as a new set of rails. So I will have all LS1 style hardware and no adapters. Then you have to use the wiring adapters to change the plug style, but that is not a big deal.
