Default External filters.10 or 60 micron?

I have 2 external Bosch 044s with 2 outlets from the tank. Each #8 line has one small #10 micron filter just before the pump.I'm going to run a single larger SX cannister filter up front after the pumps.I was going to run a #60 micron paper element but SX says that element is for carburetors and they recommended a #10 cartridge.I thought everyone runs a #60 micron after the pumps?I pulled the paper element out of the filter as it was used on another FI car and it looks fine and the car never had any fuel issues running in the 8s with 2 large SX pumps.Any comments?
Thanks.

Typically you run the larger micron filter (60 or 100) as a pre filter for the fuel pump, and run the smaller micron filter (10) after the pump/before the injectors.
