Default 104 octane 50/50 with 93

Any gains to this all the old school guys use this here. I also need to know if this will be safe for my O2s and plugs. Any advanced programming needed.

I read that the pcm doesnt read anything higher than 94 octane? so youd prolly be wasting your cash, im not real sure, someone here will know~

i agree with Sudz, pcm doesnt register anything over 94 octane, ive heard that running a higher octane then 94 can actually cause you to lose performance.

The fuel mix you are discribing runs great in my supercharged truck.The PCM checks for knock not octane.If you have a problem with knock due to low octane fuel,then mixing 104 octane racing fuel will help your performance a lot.Engines perform best on the lowest octane fuel that doesn't produce knock.If the 93 octane is not producing knock,the additional expense would be wasted.

Well no knock at 31.0 degrees timing so I will leave it be. Thanks for the info...

With those mixtures in those amounts, it would be around a high 97-98 octane fuel.
