Fuel Pressure Gauge In Car?
Can you have a FPG in your car? I guess what I'm asking is, is it legal? Track Rules etc. I've seen that most guys run a Gauge coming out of the hood or something but I've also seen guys put it on the Gauge Pillar inside their car... Just curious, Thanks
Sure you can. There are two basic types: Mechanical and electric. The mechanical type has a fuel line running to the gauge and cannot be inside the cockpit. The electric type has a sending unit mounted (usually on the fuel rails) and a wire going to the gauge. These are perfectly safe for inside the car.
There are also isolators that work with a mechanical gauge. It uses a diaphram that separates the gasoline from the cockpit & you fill the line in the car with antifreeze. Since the availability of high pressure electronic gauges, these are not that popular anymore, but an alternative if you already have a mechanincal gauge.
There's no need to be a smartass. Not everyone reads everyone elses replies to the topic. Some just post up their answer to help the OP (original poster). In the future keep this in mind instead of being an ******* to people that are trying to help you.

Thanks!
