What is pump setup is needed? Hey Guys, I have a question for you.
I am in the process of swapping a 5.3 into my 85 Regal and I was wondering what fuel pump am I going to need to run?
Im going to be running my 5.3 with a Mp70 turbo, Im have 60lb injectors that im going to use and I have a 12 gallon fuel cell. What kind of setup am I going to have to use to keep up with the turbo on the 5.3?
Would something like a Aeromotive A1000 work? or is there something else I should use?

If you are going to do alot of street driving i wouldnt use the a1000. The magnafuel pumps are great for street driving and i know with the 43 series ones ( 4301,4302,4303) you dont have to use a controller for on the street. Lots of people supposedly have trouble with the a1000 getting to hot on the street
I would do one of the magnafuel 43 series then since you have a fuel cell as trying to do some twin in tank would be more difficult. The magnafuel can handle all the street abuse along with being able to support 2k hp depending on which of the 43 series you get
