Exclamation ls1 fuel rail to a covette fuel rail

hey i have a 69 camaro that an doin a ls1 swap in it. the ls1 is a 2000 camaro an stock. i have read that i have to use a covette fuel rail becuz it has the return line that i must use. would u all know y this is an would i covette fuel rail fit the stock ls1 motor an btw am goin with a fast 92mm intake. if this will help.

It was the early corvettes that had the return style fuel rails, something like 97 and 98. I don't know about F-bodies. I have a 99 and it has no return line. The regulator and filter are one unit in the back of the car.

i have heard bot that way but trying to get all questions answered. i called s&p an they said i would need to send them my fuel rail for a core an they would send me a ls1 camaro fuel rail that as be modiflyed with the covette regulator built in to it an a return line.

Why do you need a return line? Why not use the regulator/filter on the later vettes? Unless you are planning on running a big shot of NOS or boost I wouldn't bother. According to one of the supporting vendors a return line and regulator at the manifold prevents fuel spike drops and that's the advantage of having the return line at the fuel rail.

I plan on running aftermarket fuel rails, pump and regulator later, but it's not necessary at this point in time.

Yes the 97-98 Vette rails will fit but simple swap use the Corvette Filter/regulator. I have complete swap kits with all the hose fittings and parts you need to complete the install. Give me a call I will help you out.
