Fuel injectors for procharger
I have a d-1sc procharger that i'm going to be boosting around 8-9psi. I just bought the car and changing some stuff. Right now it has 42lbs fuel injectors that have only been on the car for 1000 miles if that along with the procharger. I'm just wondering if i need to go to 60lb injectors since i'm thinking i might be around 500rwhp. I just want to have the car setup right before takiing it to get dynotuned. I'm new to this stuff so any help would be great. If i should get 60lb injectors any brand you recommend.
heck I run 60psi of fuel pressure with a 1:1 rising rate, I put down 566whp using 42 pounders and was at around 75-80% duty.. I think ud be fine with them for now, and I was also using 7psi of boost. I plan to up to 60 pounders here soon cause the new motor is being built as I type, and I will up the boost to around 12psi and call it quits.
It has the aeromotive a1000 fuel pump but i have to go through that yet. I have to see how the people before had it ran. I'm thinking it has the stock pump feeding the a1000 which i know is not the right way. So i have to check that out and see what i can do for the a1000 or just sell the a1000 pump and get the walbro 255 intake and hotwire kit. I'm just trying to do it right from the start. Which 60lb injectors would you recommend. Anyone need any 42lb injectors they are like new.

That's a good point. My 42s are Ford SVO "Green Tops", and my rail pressure is about 62 with a Warlboro 255 and hotwire, and they are at about 80% with my D1 at 8psi. With a different 42lb injector, I may well have maxed them out by now.
You should not feed an A1000 with the stock pump, this is a recipe for disaster... you will starve the A1000.
Also those external pumps do not like any inlet restriction... a sumped tank is the only proper way to use these pumps.
If you would like assistance with a fuel system, please call me. I have everything in stock to buld you the proper system.

Without knowing your exact current & future goals I cannot say. A single 255 may or may not be enough.
