Anyone convert from a Plastic tank to a Metal tank?
I'm interested in doing this, anyone ever done this? Will the metal tank fuel sender work on a 99 up car? Used the search and didnt get anything. I wanna go to a sumped metal tank and run an external pump & dont have the money for a cell.

Senders are totally different as is wiring.
This is a lot of money / effort for no real reason. I can set you up with a intank pump kit that will support over 1000rwhp.... without cutting up the car, the wiring or the fuel tank.
My kit is already proven on quite a few 8 second cars...
Feel free to call if you would like to discuss.

For a street car under 1000rwhp Lonnies pump kits are the more reliable setup available. Anything over that or a race car you need a sump tank. We offer a complete sumped tank with custom sender to work with your factory gauge and we do stock the MagnaFuel stuff. Much easier than trying to cut weld seal clean rust prevent on the stock tanks.
