Default Twin Pumps Fuel Sloshing

I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on this. I'm running a basic DIY twin pump setup on a F1A procharged application. My sending unit is no longer a "bucket" style it's just two pumps similar to the 98 model fbody's. On the dyno I have no issues with fuel supply. However on the track my car will launch and then fall on its face sputter and die this is it WOT so I only let it happen once to prevent the chance of damaging my engine. There's usually a backfire as well.

I would be inclined to think this is an electrical issue but since it's fine on the dyno I'm thinking it's due to the fuel slosh in my tank causing the pumps to run dry for a split second. I had a full tank when this happened so I would think it would be hard to get the pumps dry but maybe someone else can provide some insight.

you can always run a fuel surge tank which will fix any fuel slosh issue you have.

With a full tank that will not happen.

Hard to tell about your pump configuration... but if the tank is truely full, fuel slosh is not an issue. It cant suck air if there isn't any in the tank.

Fill it to the top & try again. This will rule out fuel slosh.
