Default LT1 to LSx Carb conversion

I have a c4 vette that had an LT1 in it. I have 2 lines in the engine bay, im guessing one is a return and the other a supply line. I will need to get down to around 7 psi for the carb right? So can i use the stock LT1 fuel system and regulate it down to this with a regulator near the engine bay and just use that return line off the regulator? Then have a single line going into my tank?

It looks like at the tank i have 3 lines going in/out. Not sure what all 3 would be for. Anyone know?

3 lines are feed, return and vent. Feed into your new regulator use the return back to the tank and the extra output to feed the carb.
