Default replacement fuel pump...

i have a 94 Z28 and installed a LS1 cam only in it. i bought the walbro kit and within 1k miles the walbro is starting to die. whats a good replacement pump?i want something better than stock, and walbro... i havent had any luck with them and am tired of spending $100 on pumps that get me a few miles this is the 2nd one in my car and the 4th that has gone out that i have seen my buddies car we just replaced the walbro with an accell and its working fine. any other tips?

Reliability is dependent on which pump you installed. There are many varieies of Walbro pumps & also many counterfeit versions.

If you want a Racetronix kit with a genuine Walbro pump, feel free to give me a call to discuss. I have excellent results with these.

funny... the walbro kit from Racetronix was installed on my car haha both mine and his were purchased directly from RaceTronix will they cover the pump? i can provide the milage from when the car was registered, and the miles now i think i should have gotten about 100K more than i did

Since you durchased direct, you need to contact Racetronix.

Walbro has a warranty, but they require the pump be sent in for evaluation.

As for you & your friends problems, it amazes me that you claim 6 pumps have failed between the 2 of you. Also doubtful they were all Racetronix kits. I've been selling these for years & rarely ever have any issues.

Please describe your fuel system mods you made in order to use the LT1 lines with the LS1 motor. Would like to be sure there are no issues there.

Are you also running the hot wire kit?

both started as racetronix hotwire kits, both for LT1 cars... his is a LT1 still with the OE system, tank cleaned, installed in the bucket, and a walbro approved sock installed each time. my car is the OE system, but under the car it has quick connects to the factory hard lines where the plastic lines normally connect, rubber lines to a vette filter/regulator (feed AND return) then fed from the filter to a LS2 rail.
