Default E-85 ????

I am getting ready to procharge my hawk and was told E-85 would be a great fuel to use.

What do I have to change to use E-85?

I know it uses more fuel, so I was thinking injectors, pumps, lines and tune.

My goal is 800 rwhp.

Is it a good ideal or not?

Sounds like you're on track to me. You'll need rails and a boost referenced regulator too.

I would recommend the use of E-85. Very good fuel for your application. For your goal i would recommend 120lb injectors, versafueler (injector controller), new braided lines, probably inline pump (unless you want multiple intank), new rails, tune, and referenced regulator as stated above.

I highly recommend working with Jeff at Acceleronics for injector/controller purchases. Very good customer service.

Im sitting just a hair under 800rwhp on e-85.
Thats through a 4l80e and ford 9", but with turbo.

i have been running E85 for over a year no problems very clean running,just make sure you have enough fuel being supplied is all, i have 2 intank pumps -8feedline MAGNAFUEL Y-Block feeding Speed Inc. High Flow billet Rails, TO a FuelLab Regulator #51502-c Dual -6in and Single -6 outlet ,to -6 return line on tank. That setup works great eventhough my Greentops are at 105 %dutycycle until friday when i order 60# seimen/dekas. oh and i am natuarlly aspirated. Very easy to tune with HP Tuners.

E85 is great for forced induction.

dont waste your time running those converter box rubbish.. just get some ID2000 injectors and away you go, perfect control at idle and pesky use less unreliable converter boxes...

Oh btw you can make ~800-900 dynojet hp with 8 ID1000's on E85.

yeah subscribing as well. I am planning on e85 and starting with 83lb injectors and an eleminator pump...hopefully around 550-600 whp

here is my take on E85 and high HP with bigger injectors...fuel consumption just sucks.

Even though my car inst a daily driver or barely a weekend car.

I have 3 walbros in tank..2 on all the time and 1 for boost only - 160# injectors, -10 feed line... 366 cubes/z06 cam/ST80 and with E85 the pumps cant handle flow needed for my high boost setting ~21#. The fuel pressure keeps dropping.

The car was perfectly fine with 91 and race with the -8 feed line.

I highly doubt 2 pumps will do 800rwhp on an FI application...

I've been running a driver box for 2 years without a problem, and it was used when I got it. I'd love to switch, and a local station is about to carry it, but I don't want to get another pump and more injectors.

The more I read about e85 the more I am considering just staying with pump and run boost accordingly
