Magnafuel Pro tuner 625 (electric) vs Magnafuel Pro Outlaw 625 (mechanical) fuel pump
Magnaflow Pro Outlaw 625
- $490
- 6 GPM @ 4,000 RPM
Magnaflow Pro Tuner 625
- $470
- 5.3 GPM all the time
Magnafuel says not to run any kind of controller on their electric pumps, which concerns me for non WOT applications and I like that the mechanical pump will slow itself down in the lower RPM's.
Cost is a wash, and the mechanical pump has a little more flow (not that I need it, goal is only 1200 HP or so and both pumps are overkill for that).
Pros or cons of either?

Just bought the protuner 750 myself, mainly because its able to support high HP and know for being reliable on the street. I would think the belt driven pump would be better suited for a race only application but thats just my best guess. I do know the Magnafuel electric pumps dont run a voltage controller because of their straight through design, they claim that the fuel cools the motor.
