Anyone know of a way to get better gas mileage without commiting a sin like putting in that gay "tornado" thing that's supposed to "spin the air making the induction more efficient"

 

lean out your A/F ration, lighten up the load on your gas pedal, weight reduction.
those work.

 

take your foot off the gas pedal, stop racing every ricer your see, no really, you bought it so do like the rest of us and just pay.

 

First complete mechanical and electrical inspect and tune and the ndecrease rolling resistance, weight, drag, and unnecessary components (combines all), and optimise fuel mamagement.

There are many sources on the hows and whys, and for a practical indication, get a vacuum gauge. Just remember the lower the vacuum, the more fuel is being used.

BTW, ANYTHING added to the intake is only going to RESTRICT airflow, and in an EFI engine, there's NO need to "swirl" the air!!!

I average 23MPG winter, 25MPG summer and have seen 30MPG on trips, and there's ALWAYS a few passing of minivans and SUV's in ALL my trips!

 

Keep your tires at 35-40 psi, that'll help decrease rolling resistance. But, as earlier stated, you bought a Camaro--so get used to it. I regularly see 12 mpg in the winter months when I let my car idle for 5-10 mins on cold startup. Putting along at 65-70 in sixth, though, yields almost 30 mpg!
