Default fuel pump install

Well I am donning a racetronix pump whit the there wire upgrade this weekend .I was wondering how far down do i have to drop the tank down before I cut the access panel in the back if the car.?

Remove the tank the right way you will want to clean out the tank to prevent junk burning up your new pump.

just dropped my tank today, not that bad and frankly I'm glad I did that instead of cutting a hole. Although I have a vert and its not any more convenient. As far as your question... if you're planning on lowering your tank to cut the hole... why not just drop your tank completely?

if your cutting the hole i dont think you dont need to drop the tank any but like was already said removing the tank isnt all that hard.

yup, youve got to do one or the other, dont have to do both. I did the access hole, becuase my pump died in a parking lot at school and i really didnt have the ability to drop a tank there. its been fine so far
