Default -8 feed, do I "have to" do a new return as well

Here's what I "think" I'm going to need, tell me if I need to add anything.

(2) Aeromotive 15118 connectors. One to eliminate the stock fuel filter, and one to hook on the fuel tank..

(2) Aeromotive 15607 to adapt ORB to -8 AN

(2) SUM-220890 to go on the end of the hose and connect to the 15607 fittings

(1) SUM-230806 6' of -8 SS fuel line

(1) MRF-MP-7010 Magnafuel filter with -8 male ports

All I'm really looking to do is delete the stock fuel filter so I can run E85 without having to worry about changing the stock paper element type filter more often.

I ran a -8 to the front from a bulkhead fitting in the sender, then I used the factory feed as a return. I just gutted a factory fuel filter. Seems to work well for me

Yea but how'd you go from 5/16 to 3/8? You only need two cheap socketless hose ends, a 5/16 > -6 adapter, a 90* -6 bulkhead fitting, and ~10 feet of -6 socketless hose to do it the right way... 74.44 + shipping from jegs

gregrob...

russell 644000 is a 3/8 to -8 male, that way you just put your hose right on there, rather than using a male-male coupler. I don't think 6' is enough line is it? I'd do it all in pushlock... Jegs is pretty cheap on the aeroquip hose (works fine with E85), speedway is cheap on the "house brand" pushlock ends which looked identical to the xrp pushlock stuff I get locally and work fine with the aeroquip hose.

Thanks for the recommendation, I had seen those fittings but it didn't "click" that I could use them to do what the Aeromotive stuff does.

The 15607 fitting is needed in conjunction with the 15118 because the other end of it is ORB fitting and needs to be converted to -8...

I'm going to use the Russell fitting you mentioned, that will be literally 1/3 of the price.. Thanks

Now, should I just use a home depot tee to run the 2 pumps in the stock feed coming out of the tank, or run a new bulkhead -8 fitting up out of the tank?

Also, any idea what fitting I need to connect to the stock fuel filter connection. On the side towards the engine?

It's some wierd metric O ring fitting.

6ft should be plenty because I'm only going up to past the stock filter, for now. I just want a -8 feed to the new magnafuel filter, and get rid of the stock paper element deal.

Eventually I will take a new -8 line all the way to the fuel rails, but not right now.

So now the parts list will be

(1) Russel 644000

(1)MP-7010 Magnafuel Filter

(2) -8 connectors for the hose, might go pushlock like you said.

(1) Connector to the stock O ring fitting on the forward side of the fuel filter to convert to -8 ???. Alternatively I could cut and flare it.

(1) Y block for the pumps, might home depot and hose clamp that just to keep it simple.

(1) 4-6 feet of hose. Pushlok or otherwise, haven't decided.

Ok, here's what it's gonna be. Should work out. I can use the left over AQP hose to connect the 2 pumps to the Y, and the Y to the stock pickup.
