Default What would it take to go E85 on my turbo set up?

Been throwing around the idea of going E85 before i take it to get tuned next season sometime, i don't think my fuel system would be able to keep up so was looking to see what i would need to upgrade/what i can keep...

Current set up is -
Sumped fuel cell with -8 going to an inline screen filter then into a bosch 044 inline pump, into another screen filter. Then -8 up to FAST fuel rails, coming out of the rails is -6 to an Aeromotive boost reference reg, out of the reg there is -6 return back to the cell. Using 60# injectors also...

motor set up is a 5.3 with a master power t70 rear mounted. plans to push around 13-15psi eventually, i cant see it going much over 600 to the wheels with this motor set up (just a stock bottom end 5.3, if it blows i'll just buy another for $350 lol, this is a 'budget' setup)... Running speed density if that matters.

What improvements would i need to do to the fuel system for E85. Would probably take it to speed inc for the tune also...

Thanks!

Without knowing your power level it is hard to tell.

Basically you will need 30% more fuel than you use now.

Feel free to call for more information.

I'd get a pump rated at about 1000 lb/hr, run it at 50+ psi with 83# injectors and you'll be good to go. I'd run at least a -10 feed to the pump, but -10 all the way to the rails would be better. I dunno how FAST rails are set up, but i'd Y -8 into both rails, -6 into the regulator would be ok.

So i'd be looking at a pump, bigger injectors, and some line to route stuff better. I would probably step up to atleast -10 to the pump and -8 to the rails or get -10 for the whole feed and possibly use my -8 for a return....

How much do you guys think i could sell a set of 60# injectors that i bought brand new and have been used for maybe 2 months. and the same with a Bosch 044 pump?

What pump would be good?

I would say aim for 700-800hp, and that is if i were ever to build a motor for more boost, i would say i'd be lucky to be at 500-600hp right now.

aeromotive eliminator or fuelab 41402/42401 would be my choices. I have the fuelab 41402 on my setup. Should be 850+ flywheel on a 200 shot, and I plan to step that up to a 300 next year. What's nice about the fuelab pumps is they have a built in "speed control" that will run the pump at half-speed while you're cruising. Simply toggle switch or you could do a rpm activated as well.

Seems like you could get ~320ish for the injectors... I'm in the same boat and need to go to the 83s, with probably only 3 tanks of fuel through these 60s

I highly doubt that, the fuel doesn't change much about how you tune
