Fuel system for D1SC @ 500-550RWHP maybe E85
I just bought a D1SC kit minus the fuel upgrade. I have a H/C/I/E 98 Z28 with stock injectors, pump and wiring, fuel rail, and fuel line.
With the D1SC I'm planning on 8psi and 500-550RWHP for now. Next winter I plan on building a iron block and focusing more on race only for the car.
What are your suggestions on a fuel system that I can grow into? IE: Steps going from what I have to supply 550+.
I thought about getting a good racetronix pump, 60lb injectors, pump wiring kit, and leaving stock fuel rails. Will run new lines to and from the new FI regulator.
Or should I just go ahead a buy a complete kit from a sponsor?

An intank walbro 340 should suffice. I think nasty sells a kit.

So for that HP level I don't really have to worry about changing the lines at this point?
But I would need the following:
Good Inline or Intank Pump capable of supporting 550RHWP
60lb injectors
Fuel filters
Boost Referenced pressure regulator
Fuel pump wiring kit/ install kit
Or is the regulator not required?
I'm jist trying to figure out how much all this will cost. thanks for the help.

For e85 you just need plenty of pump, and 50% more injector than you'd need on your setup for 92 octane. Most of the stuff you hear about it eating seals and lines are not true on newer vehicles.
Oh and a very nice tune.

On gasoline, 550rwhp should be ok with a single pump, but you will likely come up short on E85.
Feel free to contact me about a dual pump kit & corresponding fuel system components.
