Which Walbro255 into Racetronix kit??

Which Walbro255 into Racetronix kit?? My Racetronix fuelpump gave out last week and was replaced by a stock pump to see if it was the pump. Sure enough pump and car stayed on. On short notice, since we had a tuning session the next day we put in a Walbro 255 #GSS341, but I have to crank it a few times to get her to start. Do I replace the pump with another Racetronix pump or did I get the wrong Walbro pump?????????

there is supposed to be a check valve to hold fuel pressure in the lines and rails that is built in the pump. Maybe that one does not have that. Just a guess though
