Default Which Walbro255 into Racetronix kit??

My Racetronix fuelpump gave out last week and was replaced by a stock pump to see if it was the pump. Sure enough pump and car stayed on. On short notice, since we had a tuning session the next day we put in a Walbro 255 #GSS341, but I have to crank it a few times to get her to start. Do I replace the pump with another Racetronix pump or did I get the wrong Walbro pump?????????

I have the same issue with my GSS341, after turning the car off, the pressure at the rail goes to 0. My interim solution has been to just flip the key on a couple times to prime the system.

there is supposed to be a check valve to hold fuel pressure in the lines and rails that is built in the pump. Maybe that one does not have that. Just a guess though

Correct, Walbro pumps do not have the jet pump feed on them as well as some other features.

Our web ad explains the functionality of our pumps for the 99-02 f-body cars.
