Default Racetronix fueling problem

The kit is on a 2002 camaro, I ran the setup for the last 1,500 miles. The problem I have is that when I turn the key on the pressure is perfect at around 58-60 psi, but seconds later it bleeds down to nothing. I'm thinking it's either the check valve or the regulator. Anyone have any ideas what it is?

Chances are the hose you clamped to the sending unit is leaking.

The clamp may be too tight pinching the plastic. It only has to be snug.

I'll check it out, but why would it just now start leaking?

It could be many things, but 90% of the time it ends up being the hose connection. If it was too tight, it could have cut through the hose.

It does not take much of a leak to cause the pressure to drop in a few seconds.

The regulator can also be bad, but I do not see this often.
You can check this by blocking the return line back to the tank & seeing if the pressure holds. Get a piece of solid 3/8" rod & insert it into the return hose that connects to the fuel sender. Make sure the edges are rounded so as to not cut the orings in the fitting. This will clearly prove the regulators function.

Well I replaced the pump with the same racetronix unit. I have 50psi pressure and it holds strong there. I need atleast 58 psi to fire the motor, I don't have any leaks nor do I know what else to check.
