Default Fuel Pressure for '02 4.8L

i'm swapping a 2002 4.8L LR4 into my 1984 camaro and i was wondering which fuel pump you would recommend and/or what psi the engine need to run correctly. I'm guessing since it is an LS-based engine it's going to need around 58psi like the LS1s but i just want to make sure.

Oh yea and how much flow in gph does 58psi translate to?

Pressure should be 58psi.

Pressure does not translate directly into flow.

Flow is based on HP. You typically need .5lb/hr fuel for each HP.
About 6.2lb/gal gas & 3.77 liters/gal, translates to roughly 3.25hp/liter/hr of fuel.

So any standard pump (190lph to 255lph) that is rated for 58psi should be OK.

I'm a bit confused - can you explain this more?
