I've got flow results for a 4301 on 14 volts -- someone send me a 4303 and I'll give you the results

140 gph @ 40 psi -- 13.4 amps
125 gph @ 60 psi -- 16 amps
113 gph @ 80 psi -- 18.5 amps
100 gph @ 100 psi -- 21 amps

 

This is what I was told directly by Magnafuel. They test them at 12.5 volts though instead of 14 so that will make a decent difference.

4303 @ 12.5V
45 psi - 2.3 gpm 14.5 A
55 psi - 2.2 gpm 16 A
65 psi - 2.1 gpm 17.5 A
75 psi - 1.9 gpm 19 A

4301 @ 12.5 V
45 psi - 1.7 gpm 12 A
55 psi - 1.6 gpm 13 A
65 psi - 1.5 gpm 14 A
75 psi - 1.4 gpm 15 A

 

hmmm -- a Weldon 1100-A flows 1.8 gpm @ 80 psi

 

At what voltage? All of these bigger pumps seem to pickup dramatically with higher voltages being applied.

 

14 -- that is where they test their pumps.

 

Ok, that takes care of the magnafuel side of the question. What about the 3 255's

Looks like a walbro 255 high pressure at 60 psi will move ~.85 gpm at 12V.

 

A sweet spot for the Walbros is 13.5V @ 45psi. Typically you will see approx 60gph from them.

and a 4303= about 170.......at 40psi

Are the 4303s noisy? I have a Prostar 500 and that thing is super noisy, I cant imagine even 10 walbros being as noisy as it.

i find this pretty interesting, has any one verified this? i just got rid of my 3 walbros to get a 4303......

 

How about real world testing? I know 3 walbros have done 1142rwhp I have seen, others have claimed 1200+ rwhp on e85. I was thinking the 4303 was running out way before this?
