Fuel Pump or Not

Fuel Pump or Not Ok so two weeks the car was sitting (01 camaro SS)
Go home car cranked but didnt start.
It fired up for maybe a second or two and then would hold an idle and now it dont fire up at all.
So i tested fuel pressure at the rail and there was nothing. With the key on no pressure cranking there was no pressure. Swapped relays and no luck.
So Im in the process of dropping the tank and i ordered in the delphi fuel pump (460.00 bucks..) but still havent picked it up. Now i didnt want to jump to the conclusion of changing the pumps and i just wanted to know exactly how to test the circuit to make sure the pumps getting power.. So any suggestions please let me know. And if any of you think its the pump if theres any suggestions to an aftermarket pump close in price let me know. No major mods just bolt ons but i have plans for it like everyone does.
