low fuel pressure
low fuel pressure Pressure is at 20#s at idle and driving. has new fuel filter. no kinks in the lines. Do u think its the pump or regulator? I'm not trying to waste money on parts.Thanks
If you are at 20# at idle on an LS / Gen III IV engine I wouldn't go WOT unless I wanted to burn a piston. Fuel pressure isn't going to magically build as you go WOT, if anything it will drop.

What is the pressure supposed to be?
How many miles?
How long since the fuel filter was replaced?
Has the car been run out of gas or nearly so since the filter was replaced?
Do you have a leaking injector or a visible leak somewhere?
I'm not saying the regulator can't go bad but in my experience pumps usually die long before the regulators do. If you are anywhere near 100K on the factory unit I would buy a pump without thinking twice, but I don't know how your finances are. On some cars the regulator and pump are one and the same, others it's built into the filter and others are on the fuel rail.

so i changed the whole pump bucket assembly with a low mile unit out of an 01. Primed it a few times and drove around the block and it felt great with no misfires or stumbles. I pulled in the driveway and left it running for 2 minutes as i cleaned up then it stumbled and died.And now it wont start. Gave me a P0108 code when it died.Workin on getting a guage tonight.Car is a 2000 camaro a4
