Default ethanol, are any fuel additives recomended or needed

Until recently my local fuel stop has had ethanol free gas.Now they say they will no longer be able to have this.I know ethanol gas will get poorer gas milege, are their other drawbacks, like more water contamination?I am worried somwhat about my ls1 powered chevelle but more worried about my older small and bigblock powered cars that tend to sit a lot without running very often.Does stabill actually work ?If not are their any additives that are actually beneficial?

Default

I haven't been able to buy anything other than E10 (10% ethanol) for a long time now, and haven't had any problems.

I have a lot of friends with carb'd cars that haven't complained either...MPG sucks (significantly lower than pump gas we used to be able to buy), but the alcohol hasn't harmed anything that I know of.
