Fuel pump
Fuel pump pulling the fuel sending unit out tonight and going to send it off to Lonnies tomorrow to get the fuel set up for the pro-charger ket on 2000 trans am

Depends how you want to remove it.
Some cut out an access panel which makes me cringe....
...or you can drop the tank.
Support car from frame so the suspension can drop.
Remove panhard rod, panhard brace & heat shields below tank.
Lower exhaust by loosening front clamp & disconnect hangers near muffler.
Disconnect wiring from car on dr. side in front of rear axle, remove gas cap & plastic shield under fender.
Remove small bolts from plastic around filler cap.
Remove bolt from filler tube under car.
Remove fuel line clips & disconnect line from fuel filter.
The 2 bolts hold tank in.
An empty tank makes it much easier it is much lighter.
You can do the access hole, but you cannot clean out the tank this way.
After 10 years, a lot of stuff can accumulate in there.
