Not sure what this thingy is. . . but I get the impression it's basically useless.
I've removed all the smog equipment from the car and this looks to be vacuum controlled, hooks up to a line I think runs back to the fuel tank, has a dual-wire quick-connector and the line it's hooked up to parallels the fuel line coming in. I'm sure with a little research, I could give a better name, but this should be close... I'm thinking something like evaporator or return...
Is it needed? IF I can remove it, will I need to make any changes to anything else? How far back can I pull the line (the one that parallels the fuel line)
