LS3 intake, LS2 FAST fuel rails...help

LS3 intake, LS2 FAST fuel rails...help I had read that the stock LS2 rails were the same PN as the LS3 ones. So, I found a nice set of FAST LS2 fuel rails. They appear to install fine and at the right height as my injectors, but the aluminum L-shaped bracket that connects the rail to the intake doesn't appear to line up to the mounting holes on the intake. The holes are missing each other by probably 1/2", but they appear to be the right height (injectors are not too tall/short).
One would think that an LS3 intake with LS3 injectors would work with the FAST fuel rails for an LS2 if stock LS2 and LS3 fuel rails are the same.
Am I doing something wrong??
