fuel return line size questions

Default fuel return line size questions

hey guy, just curious if i run a -10 feed line would a -6 return line work fine or should it be a -8 return. or would i be fine if i just buy some -8 and use that as the feed and get rid of my -10 feed line. engine is a twin turbo 6 liter that should be making around 700 hp..

so what would be the better idea
-10 feed with -6 return
-10 feed with -8 return
or
-8 feed and 6 return

-6 is fine & you are also wasting money on a -10 supply.

you can feed a 700rwhp engine w/ a -6
-10 is easily good to over 1100rwhp.

Go -8 supply & -6 return. Give me a call if you are interested in the correct lines for your application.

sounds good.. ill have to see how much -8 i have laying around here.. i had the -10 thats why i used it to begin with but then started thinking about it and it didnt sound right.. thanks!!

Sorry OP have to jack your thread....

Lonnie, is a stock (4th gen) supply line somewhere between -6 and -8? Read somewhere stock lines (supply and return) can support between of 700 and 750rwhp N/A.

It is approx -6 size.

Lonnie, I have a 1/2" stainless line on my car from the SBC carbed deal I had. It follows the factory routing from tank to front then back down the other side(return side) following factory routing again.(f-bodies used the driver side if the car had an Oldsmobile motor) Question being, is that too many bends in the feed line to be efficient using twin Walbros? Lines were professionally made from vendor, so bends are good. Sorry for the "jack".

I'm quite familiar with 2nd gen f-bodies... you should have no problems w/ your lines.
