New Injectors?

Got my car at the tuner's for a full dyno tune. 99 z28 with TSP 224r, long tubes, ORY, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, 2800 converter. He called me right before closing and said that at 5800rpm my factory injectors were running at 98% and recommended upping to 36lb injectors. I'm tending to believe him, but would like some opinions. does this seem right to you? Car has stock heads, and I am hoping for a rwhp in the 380ish range.

I have whatever injectors came stock for a 99z28. Personally, don't know even what size they are.

I believe they are 24's. Id also check the fuel filter and the sock on the pump might be clogged up. Had a friend that was running 120 % duty cycle on dyno and getting 4-5 degrees of kr with blower and couldnt figure out why. When his pump quit working he pulled it and the sock was about stopped up. Put in new stock pump and sock then all kr went away, amazing...

Yeah should be 24 id say upgrade but I wouldnt go higher than 36 because at our fuel pressure they are rated at 43

Yep, with your power goals, you are looking running on the edge of what the 24# injectors can support.

You might pick up a set of LS6 injectors if you can find them on the cheap.

I'd recommend a set of ours, but the smallest size I have for the LS1/LS6 engines are 42#.
