Mike Moran, or [non-sponsor link removed]

They are the same..........as far as I know. They work together, I think Moran does the r&d and they are building them but they might just share imformation and both be producing.

I have the 160's for an e85 405ci st80 .

Why are they in the above post for 560+shipping then?

Why doesnt anyone talk about how good the injector is? Its only the very thing that is controlling the amount of fuel and how it gets into the cylinder? Now the atomizers look like a deal.

The high imped 160's are really natural gas injectors aren't they? That are marked up about 100%? I would want to sell those too, except they were never intended to flow gas..why is injector information like pulling teeth? I posted about this awhile back.....and got no answers, except other members upping the post asking the same questions. Where were the vendors then?

You tube has some nice videos too.

ttt, hmmm, not even an acknowledgement?

This board is like steering clients to live in a certain neighborhood..Just a few people all selling the same thing, but not talking about whats available across the street.

EDIT: Video removed

heres one of many videos I mentioned.

I'm not here to sell anything to be honest...

I was just offering another option to the OP. As to why someone else has them for $560, well, Google is your friend

Also, what injector info are you looking for?
Ford does provide some data:

Wow, 1320, remove the stick from your ***! We have used the motorsport 160's in my friends turbo mustang with good success on e-85 and the car ran 151 mph through the traps on it's shakedown runs. You will have to run them a bit rich though to keep the pulse width from dropping under a certain number or the vehicle will not idle well. But there is nothing wrong with them and like Mike showed you, ford does list some data for them. I will also be using those injectors on my car when it is back out with the turbo setup, snagged an entire set of 'em for $150 shipped on ebay, it's a good budget injector.

Wow, I didnt say it wasnt a good budget injector.....

I didnt even say it was a bad injector. I just asked why doesnt anyone ask about the injector itself, instead of just price? Althought the hi z's are 1200+ $.....

Doesnt the use have anything to do with choice? Can your wife or girl friend daily drive the ford 160's? 151 is fast.....how about testing them though? Just because you ran 151 doesnt prove or DIS prove anything until you test them against something else.

Why was the video removed? It was just a you tube video showing spray patterns? Did that offend someone in the secret society?

The video was removed by request of one of the sponsors - technical discussions about other competing products are fine, but I've noted in a few posts that you seem to be pimping these injectors pretty hard core to the point that the technical merit of the discussion is questionable.

You can discuss the technical aspects of these things all day long, but when you start taking on the appearance of trying to sell these (either yourself of promoting it for someone that isn't a sponsor), that's when I have an issue.

If you have the need for 160 lb/hr injectors, you're not daily driving the car, and most likely your wife isn't driving it either! Regardless, like I said, driveability on them in my buddies mustang is good enough to drive around without issues, just has to run it rich or driveability goes to hell if you drop below a certain pulse width.

A few? Exactly two.......and all I did was mention the video, and the thread died. Then I went back and posted it. Accidentally actually, I meant to post the link. I can even dig up my own old post, that raised questions regarding injectors, that other members upped with the same questions that NO sponsors even addressed. Pimping hard? Really ? A link or mention of who builds them. Not they distributor, the actual builder. Technical merits questionable? Thats the point of teh video I think. Whats better then a picture? A video perhaps? I dont dought that a sponsor wanted it removed. Who would want to see a cng injector compared to something else? Your right that has no merit in this discussion regarding injectors.

And as for no one daily drives a car with 160's......I do.
I'd show you the spray pattern but its deemed an advertisement. I didnt even by from the guys that make them. I ve never even talked to them. I bought mine used, but they are well known on the turbo forums and yellow bullet I think.

Hate to bump a 7ish week old thread but was just searching for something and felt the need to comment.

That's a blanket statement saying that if you need 160's then you're not DDing; I know a guy who DD's on 2200cc (~209lb) injectors. This is very pertinent info.

yea, but paying vendors that dont sell a different product would rather not have it talked about. I dropped it, I didnt want to tell the guy that I run 160's in a conversion van....with two tv's, a trailer hitch, and is the family wagon that goes to sams club. It also sports a 405 ci, st80, 4l80e and I wanted the 160's for e85 and a zr1 smooth idle, since it runs a ls9 cam. It also sports a two step, and a trans brake....and awd. But why argue.
