Racetronix pump problem?

thanks mred my new pump should be here friday so we'll see what happens apparently bleed down is normal but my car still has a hard time starting with this new pump... what was yours doing exactly?
I suppose if the new pump doesnt work out then I'll have to go and try the different hose route would you mind pming me a link of the exact hose you used because aeroquip makes a few different kinds and none say lok on the description.
I really hope/ think that the pump somehow is causing the issue in the fuel system as I said before what are the odds of everything working fine then lietrally the day that I put the new pump in I start having issues.

well guys just as an update i got the new pump in the mail and it sseems to have fixed the issue. I suppose despite the slow leakdown of the pump it was enough to cause some hard starts because the flex tube def didnt have any cracks in it when I pulled it out and the new pump works flawless.

I ordered a racetronix mild upgrade pump for my 99 trans am around the same time as this article, I just had the shop tell me they didnt even think the pump had a check valve because it never primed right or held pressure after turning the car off. Sucks too because even if it's my pump im going to have to pay the shop to change the pump out again, another 350 because the first pump never worked right.. If that is the case.
