Walbro pump came with 5.0 install kit. Will the gaskets work?
Got my walbro today and it came with '85-96 5.0/4.6 install kit. I know I will need a straight 1/4" fuel line instead of the bent one but, will I be able to use the rubber gaskets? They look alittle smaller but I'm not sure?
BTW: I just noticed that it's marked GSS 346. Is this the high pressure pump or the low?

I hope you know you will need to modify your fuel pump housing to fit this new pump. The pump you bought fits easily on 98 models. As for the fuel tank gasket, i reused my stock one.

Ya, I know what I have to do to modify it I just wanted to make sure it would work. I've never heard of a GSS 346 and I would hate to get it in and then find out my FP is only like 40psi. The chart on the back says operating pressure is 30-45psi but, the chart also shows it flowing up to about 85psi. It's from Thunder and they only sell one 255lph pump so I'm hoping it will work fine.

I've never heard of it either, in fact it's not even listed on Walbro's site. I think the reason it maybe marked 346 is because this paticular pump is made for Holley. I'm just going to order a hot wire kit for it and hope it'll will keep the pressure up.
