fuel pump not working... help!

Default fuel pump not working... help!
a week ago I turned my car off and when I went to try and start it... it just cranked over and didnt start. I listened with my ear to the fuel tank and pump wasnt turning on. checked all the fuses everything is good.


soooo i figured dangit i need a new fuel pump. ordered a racetronix pump installed it and its not turning on....

I'm stumped! someone please help!

have you checked for power at the pump? sounds like a broken wire, or bad ground to me.

I have power. with the key on the power is there for about 3 sec like it should be to prime the pump. any idea where the ground is going to from the pump?

There is a Fuse and a Relay in separate boxes under the Hood. Did you check those?

yes. fuses are good and the relay is clicking just like it should be..

Did you check for fuel pressure at the rail and how is the filter? I know these are all simple things but you need to get the easy stuff first.

after putting on the wiring harness "hot wire" from racetronix that pump works but i'd like to find out what is wrong with the facrory wiring going to the pump as well. being that there was power at the factory plug my guess is a ground.
