Default E85 fuel...

Got a 01 ta,402ci 11.6 compression, ect, ect. I'm looking to get every last drop of power if it's worth it. I been searching e85 and some say a car with my compression i'll be lucky to see a 10hp or so gain. I have n.o.s but don't use it very much. Right now i have 545hp. Any thoughts if the gain vs the cost will be worth it?? Thanks, mike c.

I would think at 11.6 that E85 would be a great choice for you. Especially if you are running nitrous. I picked up a tenth when I first switch without any other changes and I was 10.5 compression then. It allowed me to slightly bump the timing giving me a little better ET.

A tenth or so would be great. I run mid 10's n/a now and have an easy 60lbs comming off the nose area with out the car looking like it was touched. If i can gain a tenth from e85 i could get a 10.3 car n/a that has all the power options, full interior, stero, ect. thanks.

How much variance is there in E85 fuel? On the pumps here it says minimum 70% alcohol, does this mean it varies? Thinking of building a big block with 11.5 to 12.5 to 1 compression.

difference in summer and winter blends. OP if you have enough injector and pump try it and see what you gain.
