What is the best way to stop my 98 z28 to stop eating fprs can I swap sending unit

?? whats your car doing to FPRs ? Its a mechanical device... how is it killing them?

I have put 4 new ones in it it seems like they last about 2 months than its like my car runs out of gas. The orings look fine the hole that it sits in Looks round I can change it farely quick its just a pain
I have read other 98 owners have had same problem

i am having the same problem right now with my 98 trans am its the plastic fpr housing that is bad it is oval not in a circle

i am thinking of installing the 2000 vette fpr/filter on mine but dnt kno how to.......... lol

A fiend put an ls1 in 67 nova he is running a frame mounted pump with fpr but he has a fuel cell with botom feed line. I am not shure if we can use a similar set up and draw from existing suply line ? What do you think.

this memeber named slonoma did it and i pmed him about the 2000 corvette fpr converstion and he said it was the best decsion he ever did i currently pmed him if he could tell us how he did it
