Help! Blew off quick disconnect and it won't stay on!
Yesterday I was driving and lost fuel pressure. Pulled over and my quick disconnect at the factory feed line had blown off. I have the FAST Rails with the -6AN braided line up to the disconnect where it meets the factory feed line. No matter how hard I push as soon as I turn the key and pressurize the system it comes back off. What can I do? Could the barb on the factory feed line be worn down too much or is it more likely that the plastic piece in the quick disconnect got messed up? I also have the evap tuned out and capped at the line and intake.

A while back there was a few threads about the quick disconnects fatiguing over time and will not stay locked on the barb of the factory fuel line. I want to say people were replacing the white plastic clip and and were taking a thinner hose of some sort, and sliding it between the metal hardline and inside the acutall fitting to keep the collar flared out.
