Aluminum fuel line okay for 58lb. system?

I went all steel braided on my swap, figured it was worth the peace of mind. It relatively cheap when you consider the cost of burning your car to the ground. If you use the corvette fpr/filter mount it close to your tank and that will cut down on return line.

I was going to use braided line but some on here are saying you'll get vapors through the braided line if you use too much of it. i was worried the aluminum line wouldn't be able to handle the pressure but I see Russell's says theirs is good to 250 lbs.

Still gathering parts but I bought Earls aluminum 1/2" feed and 3/8 return for the long run on the frame rail. going braided from tank to frame and braided from front of frame to engine. I have a ricks tank with LS3.

I used Russell alu hardline for mine.
Now it has been installed for a few years now, but twice it has developed pinhole leaks for no apparent reason. Although oddly, both times were near a rubber lined P-clip. There was no sign of physical damage.
I cut and replaced those sections with Earls Pro-lite 350. It occurred near my pumps each time, so the repair section just got longer.
And oddly too...both leaks became apparent after the car had sat up for a few months.
I still havent replaced all the hardline, but I'd be wary about using it again.
As for fumes or smells. If you are routing lines through the cabin, you need to use teflon lined hoses.
