Default 255 racetronix power

I'm putting in a racetronix 255 pump b/c i maxed out the stock one. I know that racetronix makes wiring to pull power directly from the alternator to give it more power. What I'm wondering is if I'm making around 450 to the wheels, do I need to wire up the kit that they sell or would the normal circut support the pump ok?

Thanks

You do not have to, but I always recommend a wiring upgrade with aftermarket pumps.

The kit takes the load off the factory wiring & draws directly from the alternator. This increases voltage at the pump as the factory wiring was designed for a lower current draw. The higher voltage can increase flow by approximately 10%
