Default Got a couple of E85 fuel hose questions

Im looking into swapping my 01 ws6 over to e85 and wondering if anyone knew how much fuel hose to buy before I start? From what I have gathered I need aeroquip -8an for the main and -6an for return. Any information would be greatly appreciated I searched and had no luck. Trying to get everything I need before I start to cut out on down time.

You can run E85 on stock lines, but you are gonna need a bigger fuel pump and injectors.

I have two walbro 255s and 60lb injectors its not going to be forced induction right now just e85 and some laughing gas. I thought the stock fuel line would break down because of the e85 that would be great if I could use stock fuel lines.

Exx was started to be used in the late 80s, most anything worth its salt can run E85 and ( for the most part ) most cars can run it without any real changes. I ran it for 2 years on the stock system 60lb injectors , 1 walbro 340, @ 420 hp you are good with 1 pump

I would use PFTE Teflon Lines. Its a little more work connecting the an fittings but its better than the rubber lines. I used to run rubber lines and the smell comes through the lines a lot and if you know e85 it smells nasty!

I'm getting ready to convert to e85 as well and from the info I have gathered you can run it on the stock fuel lines and fuel system without any problems. (Vehicles 87 and older will have corrosion problems with e85) As long as your fuel system can provide 20-30% more flow your good to go. Keep in mind when tuning us lambda instead of AFR

Most people get confused by Lambda, you can tune in AFR. Its just a slightly richer value.

Well if the stock lines will work I may just go that route for now and change everything up when I go FI down the road.

Would 1 walbro 255 gss340 be enough to run e85 and a 125shot with 60lb injectors or should I just go ahead and run both of them since I already have them?

Most cost-effective solution is to use Aeroquip AQP socketless hose and anodized aluminum push-lok fittings. The AQP hose is made from synthetic rubber and is 100% E85 compatible.

For mine I used -8an line to run from the tank (i have 2 pumps 1 for n/a and the second kicks on with the nitrous) and I used the stock fuel line as the return. If you are using aftermarket fuel rails and fuel regulator Jegs sells a push lock fitting that can connect the stock fuel line to the aftermarket rail/regulator (its only a couple bucks).
