Default Hole in 2001 Trans Am WS6 fuel tank

I suspect that there is a hole in the gas tank because yesterday gas was leaking out, now it is not leaking because the fuel got below the hole. The previous owner had the car wired for subs/amp, so maybe when he removed the amp, he removed the screws that were drilled into the gas tank.. What do you think I should do, and how should I go about doing it? Send it to professional. Does the rear end have to be dropped to access the fuel tank? Please help. Thanks!

Go buy a fuel tank off of a model in the junk yard.
