I just bought a 255 walbro intank fuel pump set up and I think I've been shipped the wrong install kit. I'm having 2 main issues. First one is the new wiring connector (pig tail) doesn't snap into the new pump. The connectors are identical. They are both female. Second issue is the fuel sock doesn't fit on the bottom of the fuel pump. Should the fuel sock snap over or inside the fuel pump nub. Any ideas? Fuel pump numbers are:
