Smile Symptoms of a bad fuel pump please help

I have a 98 ls1 camaro just hit 100k the car won't start right away it will take about 4-5 seconds to start. Is it the fuel pump it been doing this for about one month. If I run it and stop it will turn back on right away but if I let it get cold it will lag to turn on. What can it be. Already changed my fuel filter

Have you tested you fuel pressure? I've been having fuel issue's on both my 98's lately.

I have the same problem. Sounds like a check valve issue which causes a loss of fuel pressure when the vehicle is not running. Here is a link to my thread from quite some time ago: https://ls1tech.com/forums/fueling-i...ump-issue.html

when my fuel pump went it literally just went, the car did not start. I drove it to work just fine. went to go to lunch and no more fuel pump. so there could be a different culprit in your case.

I did its at 60 psi. I think it might be the fuel Pressure regulator. It's not holding the pressure. It's on the Fuel rails I think
