I'm replacing the stock tank in my '67 Camaro with an EFI tank and need to pick an intank pump. The Camaro should be making around 450+rwhp. The Walbro 255 says it's good to 600hp (crank/wheel?), while the Walbro 400 says it's good for 500-900hp(crank/wheel?) for about $60 more.
I'd rather not have to replace the pump in a year or two if I decide I need to make more power. Are there any issues with running the bigger pump? Is it worth while? I'll be using a corvette style bypass regulator with this setup. Thanks.

I contacted Tanks Inc. and asked them:
"Would the Walbro 400 (GPA-6) be overkill for a 450-475rwhp engine, or is the 255 (GPA-4) more appropriate. I'll be running a corvette style bypass regulator with it."
Their reply:

Their reply:
We would recommend the GPA-4 pump. It will be enough fuel for your set up and any unused fuel will be returned to the tank.
