Default can't keep current to my fuel pump.

Ok I'm at a complete loss. In my 94 formula my pump and relay are new. I even got a good used sending unit. But for some reason I can't keep juice to the pump. Any ideas or a wiring diagram you would recommend? I thought for sure the issue was resolved. Could it actually be a ecu issue? Can I run a hot wire straight to it? Just jumped off my fuse block? Please help!

Which fuse? I don't see one related? It's hit and miss. It'll stay running for a few then die. After I replaced the sending unit. It stayed running for a while before I shut it off. Then when I went to start it again after I buttoned everything up. It barely ran until continuously falling on it's face. Now the pump doesn't even turn on with out applied power from my power probe.

Every standalone system runs fused power to the pump, but you have to make sure it cuts power with key off or with engine not running (stalled, etc.)

With the intermittent things you have going on taking the relay
out of the equation would be a good plan by replacing it.

The relay is attached to the dead pedal on the drivers floor board.

are you getting current to the sending unit? in my rx7 i would get current to the fuel pump connector on the outside of the sending unit. the connector inside of the tank burned up internally and it would not make a connection. so the power would stop right before the pump. this has happened to me twice after upgrading my fuel pump on 2 different cars.

I had replaced all of this stuff. Even a different sending unit. Pump and relay are brand new. Sending unit was in better shape than in my car. When I installed it. Seemed to had worked. At one point it ran fine. Then it cut out. I applied power with my power probe and that didn't seem to do a dam thing. Which it should have I would think? best guess at this point could be a bad internal harness on the ground side or perhaps I got a bunk pump. Just sucks right now being that this is when the rain returns to the northwest. So it's been dumping like mad!

Oh and it does prime and shut off after a few seconds as it should. So it has to be wiring.
