02 Ls1 injectors
I have a 99 with the 26lb injectors looking at doing a Ls6 intake along with bolt ons listed below in signature found 30lb injectors from injector connection.com from the site. Question with mods listed and a proper refresh tune from Frost would these be ok or to much?
30lbs should be fine but u have to get a retune for 30lb injectors. When i did my cam swap i left my stock injectors on and drove like a granny for 2 days till i went to my tuner and he installed the 30lb injectors and did the dyno tune. if u planning on doing more mods like a cam i say get the 30lb injectors. if ur not going to mod anymore then what it says on ur sig, i say leave ur stock injectors
My 99 came equipped with 26lb injectors the Ls6 had 28's and the price on the 30's with a warranty are cheaper than buying used having them checked and or redone.
I will be getting a retune to remove the EGR anyhow. I do plan on a mild cam and 243 heads down the road at some point so if they would work I should plan for them. I wasn't aware the flow was set by tuner. Thanks for the reply
