A1000 external pump/tank sump help
I've tried searching, but haven't found what I'm looking for as far as how folks are getting their A1000 hooked up. The factory fuel tank has no sump point on it, and the A1000 needs to be lower than the tank. Without buying another tank, what are my options for adding a sump point for my -10 feed line? Any help, pictures, part #'s, any/everything is appreciated.

Get a metal tank and you can buy a baffled sump and weld it on like I did... or poor mans sump it by drilling and tapping it for like a 1/2 npt to 12 an male male and run -12 to the inlet side, 10 to the front.
Not a lot of places to throw the pump. Heres mine hope this helps

I 2nd just getting a 98' tank and add/weld a sump to it. That is what I did, still have to install it along with the rest of my fuel system. I have heard the 98' tank with putting it in a 99+ car you have to do some wiring to get the sending unit/level sensor to work properly. I have yet to find any info on this when searching around.

Is the sump piece something I can buy, or is this something I need to make because it cannot be bought? (I like links to places that sell things I need) I'm very short on time currently.

I have my A1000 mounted about the middle of the tank. If it was below the bottom of the tank, it would drag on the ground. Just mount it as low as you can safely, and don't sweat it.
It pulls from the top of the tank, from the stock location. It's no big deal.
The feed/suction line is a -10, and the pressure side is -8.
