switching to 28# Injectors
Quick question.
I have an LQ4 that has an LS1 intake on it, with truck injectors and billet rails. I've been having issues with the rails leaking (they're cheapo rails).
I got a great deal on a stock fuel rail with 28# injectors off a Gto. The stock rails should fit a whole lot better, and not leak.
I have the car all tuned, and it runs great. Now, if I go and switch the injectors to the ones off the Gto, will the car run the same? Its not like Im jumping to 80#s. Im running the stock GM harness and computer. The engine is completly stock internally, with LT's.
Thanks guys.

Ok, so I found and old thread on here, and the general consensus was that the car would run a little more rich.
IIIRC, LQ4's were 26#? If so, will that extra 2# make that much of a difference?

Huh, for some reason I had it in my head as 26# for an lq4.
If I had tuning software I would gladly switch the data around. If I switched the injectors, could I drive it to my tuner and have him tweak the data? The car already has been tuned before, so it should be rather simple.
Im just sick of the leaky rails, and they dont fit well with the FRC's.
