Default dual fuel pump wiring

So for sanity checks, I wanna run how i wired my pumps past you guys.
Okay so, I bought sho me speeds wiring harness, knowing it was for a 99, i bought it... i have a 98... so wirings a little different...
sooo, here a run down and let me know if anything sounds off.
-I have one pump wired into the stock single fuel pump wiring
-The other is completly seperate except for the signal wire that first goes through a power and relay, then through a hobbs switch then back to the second pump.

Hopefully this kinda makes sense... it made sense in my head while i was doing it and i have taken electrical classes just wanted to see if this setup will work!

Looks to me as tho you are running both pumps on the original pump power wire.

You drew the power/signal as the same source.

The relay needs a separate power feed to only use the signal wire as an actual signal.

The relay does have its own power source, and im only using the siganl from the first pump to tell the other pump what should be happening but isn't because of the hobbs and relay

The Hobbs should be connected in-line with the ground wire on the coil of the relay for the 2nd pump.
